Apple bourbon bread pudding
Serves 10-12
Ingredients:
6 eggs
300gr. golden yellow sugar
500ml milk
250ml cream
90ml bourbon
3 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1gr. cinnamon
750gr. stale brioche bread, diced
Directions:
Whisk together eggs and golden yellow sugar
Add cream, milk, bourbon, and cinnamon’ whisk to remove any lumps
Pour egg mixture over bread, gently mix in apples
Transfer mixture to a buttered 3 inch deep, 10 x 8 inch baking dish
Bake in 350 degree oven 50-60 minutes, or till an internal temperature of 165F
Serve with bourbon caramel sauce, ice cream, or whipped cream
